So if you guys are wondering what's going on, i'm taking a break from UTR to work on a pretty massive commission. I'm currently unsure when it will finish, but I still have this project on my mind.
So I've been thinking, instead of premade tilesets, i might draw the entirety of every room. that way I'm able to plan the lighting and composition of each room dynamically. Of course this only works if I end up landing a programmer on board.
Heya! shit's been crazy recently. School is piling up and my dumdum adhd brain can't handle balancing this project along with my education. I'm thinking of picking this up and continuing work soon tho!
Im gonna have many polls, but here's my first. Should I shade the soul or not? keep in mind that this is the soul that shows in battle.
So i have to redo the entire tileset because i'm a poopy idiot and I don't know how the sprites are actually cut up and put together...

When waiting for sprites, expect bursts of work before a break. I'm kinda fickle, so it's hard to get motivated if it isn't new. and when i am motivated, I work non stop. Usually I just have to wait for it to be fresh on my mind!
